Using Google Maps API – or https://snazzymaps.com/build-a-map, select a location and play with the style option until you have the desired output. There are a ton of options to optimize the layer(s) and looks that you want. Very useful for high contrast layers for roads/rivers/water and other terrain features. Will definitely be posting more on this after I start playing with the laser engraver.
