Sleeping on the boat during the summer can get kinda sticky. We’ve found ourselves throwing a box fan or portable AC unit in the window outside the rear berth where we sleep blowing cold air in. The downside is we have an extension cord running from the outlet in the kitchen across the boat to the outside. The solution seemed simple enough – add a, waterproof, outlet “outside” under the seating bench.
Some quick planning and a multitool to cut a small hole in the fiberglass and the box was installed.
